  Chaos Dimention is developing
revolutionary
Visual Interface (VI)
technology and techniques to better
visualize, navigate and manipulate
information. The software technology
encompasses interaction, visualization,
translation and integration Intellectual
Property. The translation layer is
implemented by an integrated
3-dimensional environment (I3DE) and
protected by a pending patent. The
techniques are determined by the need to
bring life to information through imagery
reflective of the virtual reality, gaming and
entertainment intuitive environment.
  Recent prototypes

The following prototypes have been developed recently and open up a new breed of 3D data
visualization options for businesses and individuals (you can run these on our
new site)

  Consumer

  Our consumer space includes an
interactive 3D email tool that will be
available as a web widget and as a
Microsoft Outlook plug-in. This
component will dramatically
enhance the user's experience
using the day-to-day management
of emails.

  Enterprise

  The enterprise solutions provide
visual representation and
manipulation of data and information
hidden within enterprise systems
such as Data warehouses, email
servers, file servers and other
applications. This tool will
complement and enhance existing

History

  Chaos Dimention was founded in
December 2005 by its Managing Director,
Tomer Sagi. The company is established
within CreativeHQ, a business incubator
in Wellington, New Zealand. There the
company will validate its value
proposition, formulate a strategic plan,
realize its potential and secure an
investment commitment.
A new Dimention for information Chaos
 I3DE (Integrated 3-dimensional environment)

Chaos Dimention’s intellectual property is divided into 4 layers:

          (1)        Interaction
          (2)        Visualisation
          (3)        Translation – patent pending
          (4)        Integration

Each layer provides specific functions for the overall Chaos Dimention offering. Interaction
deals with the techniques and methods users will use devices (mouse, keyboard and other)
to interact with the visual metaphors of the system. The Visualisation provides revolutionary
information visualisation structures for easy understanding and manipulating of the
information. The Platform provides the technology for mapping, converting and filtering the
information prior to being displayed in 3D space. This layer has currently a pending patent for
structuring the information in a meta-visualisation format. The Integration layer provides a
unique integration with external data sources for import and export operations.

The Integration layer provides the external connectivity with other sources and will pave the
path for easy integration with any data source available by any software provider. The Platform
layer also provides a strong competition to other software vendors by segregating the
business structure to the 3D layout through a unique structural layer. All four layers
communicate using this unique data transformation logic. This IP could be applied to any
piece of software on any operating system because its developed using the Java
programming language – ‘write once, run anywhere’. Later this IP could be applied to specific
programming languages upon demand (e.g. better compatibility for Microsoft operating
systems using DirectX instead of the open standard, OpenGL).
Visualization

Looking back we have seen the start of the modern evolution of graphical user interfaces
in the form of a 2D environment (command prompt, what was called ‘DOS’) and later the
break-through of windows which is predominant today. Now, we are facing the next big
challenge, moving to the next logical step in our graphical user interface evolution. The big
players have already attempted an entry into the 3D market through Microsoft Vista and Sun’
s Looking Glass 3D desktops. We at Chaos Dimention call it Visual User Interface. This
interface extends existing 3D technology and techniques by provides an extra cutting-edge
visual interface for viewing and managing information.
